Metro averages
Gas prices by city
These are metro-area averages published by the EIA — the same survey that produces the national number. Each metro covers a defined set of counties, which we list on the city page so you know whether your address is included.

Why we only list metros the EIA actually measures
It is easy to publish a price for any city by copying a state number and adding a guess. We do not do that. Only metros with a published EIA series get a page, because a page built on an invented number is worse than no page at all — for you, and for the long-term credibility of this site. If you need a city that is not listed, use the state benchmark and adjust for local conditions.
