What to include in a correction request
- The page URL and the exact figure you are questioning.
- The source you believe is correct, with a link if possible.
- The week the figure refers to — price pages are dated by survey week.
What we can help with
- Data questions. How a series is defined, which counties a metro covers, or why a state shows a regional benchmark.
- Media requests. We can provide the underlying EIA series and the calculations behind any published figure.
- Licensing and reuse. Our original text and charts are available for citation with attribution.
What we cannot help with
- Station-level prices for a specific address. We do not collect them.
- Predictions for next week's or next month's price.
- Refunds or complaints about fuel purchases — contact the retailer directly.
